We have been asked by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero to contact customers after it was found that some other government retrofit schemes have fallen short of compliance standards.
Customers who have had external wall insulation works carried out at their homes will receive a letter this week.
Rykneld Homes, in partnership with North East Derbyshire District Council, has undertaken extensive work to customer homes to improve energy efficiency.
We do not believe any of the works we have undertaken to local homes are of concern, however, along with other housing providers, we have been asked to look into the issue.
We are working with partner organisations to obtain additional assurance that works on customer homes meet all of the required standards.
This will involve a small sample of homes being inspected. Customers will be contacted directly if their home has been selected for audit.
Customers are being invited to share any concerns they may have about retrofit works with our teams.
