All sessions are FREE but a suggested donation of £2 per child will be appreciated - donations will go towards future events
FREE food and drink for children or bring your own picnic - if you have any allergies, please let us know in advance by email
All children must be supervised by their own adult at all times
Indoor and outdoor activities, please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

Eckington Community Pantry, Rykneld Homes, Eckington Parish Council and Derbyshire County Council are offering FREE breakfast hampers for families with children who are struggling financially
For families living in the Eckington Parish (Eckington, Marsh Lane, Ridgeway, Renishaw, Troway and Spinkhill).
Collect your FREE breakfast hamper every Thursday during the school summer holidays from 27 July to 31 August 2023.
Collection between 11am and 1pm from Green Lawns Community Centre, 8 Warren Walk, Marsh Lane S21 5RX

Running every Friday throughout the summer holidays from 28 July to 1 September 2024.
10am – 10.45am - Balance Bike session – ages 2 + (bring your own bike and helmet if you have them, so they have something familiar but don’t worry if you don’t, we have a fleet available with safety gear to use)
11.30 -12.30pm – Ready Steady Pedallers – for those that have just started pedalling – (for this session riders need to bring their own bikes) – we provided all safety wear – ages 3+
1.30pm – 2.30pm – BMX skills session – - learn how to corner, race, pump, jump, manual and wheelies – bikes and safety wear provided (for riders who can confidently ride a bike and can pedal while stood up – so bum off the seat / feet level pedals) – ages 7+
3pm – 4pm – BMX skills session - learn how to corner, race, pump, jump, manual, wheelie and use a racing start gate – bikes and safety wear provided (for riders who can confidently ride a bike and can pedal while stood up – so bum off the seat / feet level pedals) – ages 11+
Mickley HAF are running FREE summer holiday sessions at The Hut in Mickley.
There are 11 sessions running throughout the holiday season. Book as many as you want to!
These sessions are FREE and open to all children.
Starting Friday 28th July at The Hut at Mickley and continuing throughout the holidays every Wednesday and Friday.

- Various crafts and other activities
- Healthy snacks
First 30 families will receive a food parcel, with recipe to take home and cook with the children.
Starting Thursday 27th July and continuing every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer holidays our summer sessions are open to all local children age 4-16.
We have a wide range of activities this year:

- Two unmissable sessions in our fabulous Woodland (including the end of season party).
