Fencing and Hedges

If you wish to remove, replace or install new fencing or hedges, you must obtain written permission from Rykneld Homes first. You should not remove any fencing or install or replace a gate without first seeking permission.

Our Fencing and Boundary Policy sets out regulations for the height of any fencing or boundary you might install.

If at the end of a tenancy Rykneld Homes has to remove damaged or unsafe fencing, the work will be charged to the departing tenant.

The Council operates a garden assistance scheme for tenants who are unable to carry out such work.
