Your chance to shape our services
We are always keen to recruit new members to our Involved Tenants Group.
The group brings together Rykneld Homes customers who are passionate about helping us to continually improve what we do. We recognise that our customers are the experts when it comes to how we can deliver excellent services.
We need the views of as many of our customers as possible, so if you can join us, please get in touch. You don't have to attend every meeting and we try to keep them as informal and welcoming as possible.
Meetings take place every 8 weeks on Thursday afternoons between 2pm and 4pm.
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic our Involved Tenants Group is currently hosting virtual meetings and if anyone's interested in joining, please get in touch with our Community Involvement Team.
Keep fit, stay safe
Why not join one of our new on-line Chair Based exercise classes?
They are free to Rykneld Homes customers and give you the chance to keep fit and well from the safety of your home.
You can find out more details in the Community Involvement section of our website.
The Community Involvement Team have been offering one to one IT support to our customers for the past seven years and we are able to still offer this service remotely via the telephone or digitally. If you are interested in learning new skills such as how to use Zoom, setting up shopping online or you have a computer problem, we may be able to help. Please get in touch with a member of the Community Involvement Team.
The Community Involvement Team have supported several community clean-ups over recent months and are keen to continue this good work. If you are interested in setting up a local group to tackle this problem, please get in touch.
Despite Covid restrictions, our group of young volunteers have still managed to keep busy. Some of the activities we have taken part in recently include:
- A graphic design workshop at The Hub, Clay Cross working with First Arts. The young people spent a full day with a professional artist to create their own positive messages posters
- A wellbeing and resilience workshop. We learnt about Kooth which is an online free service for young people. Kooth offers young people the opportunity to speak to a qualified counsellor via text plus many more free services. For more information visit Kooth.com
- Planning an exciting ‘shine your light’ arts project which will run throughout the year.
If you would like to join our youth group, please contact the Community Involvement Team.
